Wine · Grape variety · Short entry
Erbaluce
Erbaluce is a Piedmontese white grape associated with Caluso and neighbouring areas. Its nursery profile describes both dry wine and wine from dried grapes.
Amber berries
Rauscedo describes medium-to-large cylindrical winged bunches and round amber-yellow berries that sometimes show pink shading. The skin is translucent and the berry navel persists. The vine is vigorous and production may vary between seasons.
Fresh fruit and dried grapes
The profile records relatively early ripening and the practice of drying harvested grapes in a drying room. Dry whites and passito therefore represent different production choices from the same variety. Bunch resemblance to some Trebbiani is not enough to establish a synonym or a shared identity.
