Trebbiano Romagnolo
Trebbiano Romagnolo is a white grape associated particularly with Romagna. The nursery describes a productive vine whose cropping and site affect wine quality.
Two pronounced wings
Rauscedo describes medium-to-large truncated pyramidal bunches with two conspicuous wings. The round berries are amber-yellow at maturity. Leaves may have three or five lobes, with a cupped blade.
Wine and cropping
The technical account includes white wines and lightly sparkling wines, supported by useful acidity, as well as a role in brandy production. It favours balanced production rather than an unrestricted crop. A proposed eastern-Mediterranean origin is not treated as settled history.
